How to add reviews & testimonials to a Wix website

This article will explain how you can use Testimonial Donut to add the testimonials and reviews received from clients and customers to your website via Wix.

1. Visit Testimonial Donut's Widgets page, select widget, and copy the 'Widget embed code.'

2. Open your Wix dashboard and click on ‘Design Site’ in the bottom-left corner.

3. Navigate to Embed Code > Embed HTML and click on ‘Embed HTML.’

4. Paste the copied code into 'Embed HTML,' and click on ‘Update.’ A widget will appear.

5. Place the widget at the desired location and preview it using the ‘Preview’ button on the top-right corner.

6. Click ‘Publish' on the top-right corner to save changes.

1. Go to the Widgets page on Testimonial Donut, and from the list of all the Widgets, select the one you want to add to Wix by clicking on ‘View/Edit.’

  2. After opening the Widget, the following window will open.

  3. Here, select 'Add widget to website' to find the HTML 'Widget embed code.' Click 'Copy embed code' to add the widget's HTML code to your clipboard.

  4. Now, you have to open your Wix dashboard and click on ‘Design Site’ at the bottom of the menu on the left side.

The following window will open, where you have to click on ‘Add Elements’ (‘+’ icon)

  5. Navigate Embed Code > Embed HTML and click on ‘Embed HTML.’

  6. The following window will open where you have to paste the HTML code from Testimonial Donut.

  7. Copy from here (Widgets page on Testimonial Donut)

  8. Paste the code that you copied from the Testimonial Donut and click on ‘Update.’

Once you do that, a preview of the widget will appear on the website which you can crop and resize by dragging the corners of the widget window.

You can also drag the widget to the preferred location or spot on your website. 

  9. Publish these changes on the website by clicking on the ‘Publish’ button on the top-right corner of your Wix, and the changes will be reflected on your website. Alternatively, you can also click on the ‘Preview’ button to see how the widget looks.

  10. Once the preview appears, you can click on ‘Back to Editor’ if you would like to make the changes again or ‘Publish’ if you like the preview.

The changes will be saved on your website, and the Testimonial widget will appear.

If you have followed the above steps, your widget would have appeared on your website.

If you want to edit the widget and make any design changes, go back to Testimonial Donut, open the ‘Widgets’ page, select the Widget that you just added, and customize it as per your preferences.

Once you have customized it and made any changes, simply click on ‘Save Widget’ to save those changes, and the changes should reflect on your website.
